Welcome

AACMP was founded in December 2001. We aim to be the "Voice of Career Management in Asia".

Our growing base of members include professionals involved in career management, outplacement, executive search, human resources and other professional services. All of us have a common interest in career management and contributing to its development as a profession in Asia.

Based in the Republic of Singapore, we welcome professionals in the Asian region to become part of this exciting and growing association.

The objectives of AACMP are:

  • To promote career management and career development as a profession in Asia.

  • To act as a source of professional development and networking of career management professionals (CMPs).

  • To build and foster international links and establish working relationships for knowledge and practice exchange amongst international CMPs.

  • To define and maintain standards of practice for services relating to the work of CMPs in Asia.

  • To provide benchmarking of practice and credentialing for Asian based CMPs.

  • To educate the community about positive career management and career development practices.

In the context of the current business world we operate in today, it is imperative that we take charge and be proactively and continuously managing our own careers. No longer is this a choice, but a necessity should you wish to maintain your employability & keep yourself relevant to society.
